Prolific vocalists such as Raleigh Ritchie require no foreword whatsoever— especially since it’s been less than a month since we featured his EP-titled piece, “Cuckoo”—and now, he’s got us even more enthralled on the Jayson DeZuzio- assisted track, “You Make It Worse”. It marks the second piece from the UK artist's upcoming EP, and unlike the preceding track, it illustrates a side of RR we’re quite used to—one that’s packed with ardent sentiments and a sublime vocal delivery. DeZuzio creates quite the setting for Raleigh on “You Make It Worse”, employing a shuddering, bass-imbued undertone with pitch-shifted vocals, and all the while, he still manages to make enough room for Ritchie to do what he does best: dispatch a salvo of reflective thoughts through adept songwriting techniques. The see-sawing from chorus to verse is flawless with RR manipulating the instrumental effortlessly, and as a result, a zestful sonic firmament emerges.
