If you've ever listened to a band you've not heard of before but wondered how they're not bigger than they currently are, you'll understand Rainbow Kitten Surprise a bit better than most. Listen to "Lady Lie" and "Cold Love", two great standout track from the relatively undiscovered Boone, North Carolina-based band, and you'll understand even better what we're trying to say. Their sound may not appeal to everyone, of course (what does?) ,but it's hard not to hear the mainstream appeal they do have wedged in.
