As music lovers, it's easy to hear the potential in unsigned bands as they cast out their efforts before they make it big. And when it comes to the soaring sounds of the Macclesfield-based indie-rock of Racing Glaciers, this understanding of their inevitable rise has already been made apparent. Now with perhaps their boldest song to date in "First Light", there's even more foreshadowing into their eventual mass appeal, as the track's towering ambiance may just draw comparisons to Coldplay or U2. Of course, such comparisons are made on our own accord, but the fact remains that Racing Glaciers is entering the same artistic vein the two have already purveyed.
