When artists go on hiatuses, fans get sad, but it's good for the artists in many ways. RAC is an example, as, there was a time during his last album cycle he was putting out a lot of material. The majority of it was pretty great, but we also felt his sound was getting a bit stale, which happens. A break was most likely needed, and, alas, that's what we/he got. Well, as you read, RAC is back now, and he's sounding refreshed with the first track, "This Song", off his just-announced new album that features Rostam (Rostam was in Vampire Weekend). There's absolutely nothing stale about this track, and, if you've been a fan of everything he's done so far, you'll absolutely be looking forward to his new project now.
