Some people never grow up, it's just their playgrounds that do the changing. For RAC, his playground is a room full of rack synths, sequencers, Moogs, guitars, compressors, delay units, and other items of the sort. It's this creative environment that's allowed RAC to be one of the most prolific producers and multi-instrumentalists in the post-2010 era, and, as seen with his countless polished remixes, RAC not only possesses a keen ear for pop music, but also the sensibility and talent to come up with new ways to build of his already perfected sound. The end result is a perfect track-record that not only speaks for itself, but has since seen his stock rise beyond the digital walls of the internet. It was last month where we saw the first part, Strangers Pt. I, of his major label debut drop, and now to follow is the second part (of the two-part album release) that champions the most amount of new material we've seen from either parts. For fans of RAC that have been following his every move, this is the album we've really been waiting for, and thankfully, to culminate our anticipation into a big smile are our compadres over at The Hype Machine, who are streaming Strangers Pt. II in full. We've had the chance to already become obsessed with the St. Lucia-assisted "Ready For It", but now here to follow its footsteps are endlessly addicting tracks like, "I Should've Guessed", that features HD-favourite, SPEAK, the radio-ready, Tegan & Sara-featured, "Hard To Hold", and the pop-perfected, "Seventeen". These are just a few of the new tracks we're loving, but already it's clear that Strangers Pt. II is not only one of the best pop records of the year so far, but also that we should expect to see it topping many overall lists when 2014 is all said and done. For now, though, catch our favourites below, and head over to Hype Machine to stream all of the album. Pre-order Strangers Pt. II HERE.
