If you yearn for tracks that emit a purifying vibe while riding a contemporary, slow-moving house beat, then it's time you get familiar with Quiet Man. “Amazon”, the latest piece from the London project, hits all the aforementioned traits, and though we’re unsure how many hands are at play here, there’s no doubt that whoever's behind the scenes is doing one helluva job putting together a worthwhile, dance-ready sound. What we're taking especially to on "Amazon" is its soul-laced synths, spacey chords, and plodding drums; and as plucked strings glide every so often beside them, the vocals progressively enchant with the piece’s pace. The sonically clement delivery of them give several reasons to memorize the lyrics only after the first listen of the track, and we're hoping as hard as we can that there will be more similar-sounding efforts following suit. EDIT: Per an email from the project, we're assuming that there are at least two members behind the scenes (they're use of "us" is tipping us off to that).
