Back in 2012, singer Echo & guitarist Quentin Martiny covered the xx's classic, "Angels". We never caught their cover back then, but it's OK because the Cosmonostro-affiliated producer, CBR, has taken to their cover and remixed it for us today. The original cover was a testament to the beauty and simplicity of the original; it was flawless, in fact. So instead of ripping the cover apart, CBR left it mostly intact by adding his own elements around it to accentuate it even more so. From new piano solos, a revised bassline, and roaring drums, CBR simply elevates this cover to new levels, and by doing so, the Paris-based producer gives it a new lease on life. Check it below.
