We've haven't tapped into the Latvian music before today, but with "Broke My Rules", the latest track from Riga-based newcomer PYØR, we are, and we're hoping what she has here is indicative of some more talent the country has. What's great about PYØR is her striking vocal. It's not one of those watered-down, over-polished types, but a bit raspy to it and pretty damn commanding when she's at her loudest on the track. That—alongside what energetic, anthemic production we have here—makes for a pretty impressive introduction for her, and we're eager to hear what more she has on the back of this here.
