Pusha T and Jeremih compliment each other perfectly on "Paid", an original song made for upcoming film The Land. The track utilizes pop-rap's hook-verse formula to maximum effect, and let us tell you that when the G.O.O.D. Music president goes pop, his verses do not suffer one bit. He creates this great dichotomy between his first and second verses about his recent successes and past struggles, and with Jeremih's hooks added on as well, "Paid" becomes a comprehensive celebration of money old and new. The Nas-produced drama (The Land) opens July 29 in theaters and VOD. The movie is about four low-income Cleveland teens who get caught selling drugs that are not theirs to sell.
