Pusha T has been a mainstay in rap for a long time, and he's still regarded as one of the best out due to his snarling tone and well-rounded talents. Despite the rap landscape shifting towards the youth, the man has remained relevant, and, with newest album DAYTONA, he's got his best in some time. Produced entirely by Kanye West, the seven-track album ditches quantity and focuses on quality, instead. Kanye does his thing on it, and Pusha, too, lays down some impressive lines. You're going to want to sink into this album much more than your typical one from any new rapper, and, though replay value remains to be seen, there's no doubt this album is a great listen upfront.
