Purity Ring, the Canadian electronic duo of Megan James and Corin Roddick - from my stomping grounds of Edmonton, nonetheless!! - have been quietly dropping a few tracks in the lead up to their first full-length album. They've done little in the way of spreading their hype save for releasing a trio of ridiculously original songs, preferring to let the music speak for them. And does it ever. "Ungirthed" was their first offering, followed by "Lofticries" and their newest, "Belispeak". Each song carries their distinctive mark, yet each song is completely unlike the others.
