Promnite

Used to be [Unity]

Mysterious producer Promnite has been on a tear recently, releasing hit after hit online, making work for us bloggers an exciting one. Chopping and screwing tracks by ScHoolboy Q and Falcons, and even working alongside such emcees as Sidewalk Kal has proven this producer worthy of turning just about anything into audio gold. Here flipping "Unity", a track by Toronto's own Tory Lanez, Promnite nuances the track with an umbrella of electronic and bass-infused sounds, but, most importantly, leaves an infectious tenor sax to do the talking throughout, leaving memories of exes swirling in your mind. The music is hardly a respite from the emotion, but it's a tantalizing listen, and for that, it's easily our endorsement.
