It's tough to stand out for new bands making indie-alternative these days, as it's too easy to get swept away as just another making that sound. With Private Island, however, we're shown that they have what it takes to stand out from rest. Their new track, "Drugs", contains nothing too flashy, sure, but what makes it great is its simple, accessible, and appealing sound. It'll get stuck in your head, and for any band to do that, that's a success. Look for their upcoming EP, Sunbreak, to drop later this year.
