It's been a few years since Prince Innocence let loose their very first sounds onto the web, and since, the Toronto-based boy-girl duo has gradually built a small buzz about themselves. Today, however, is the very first time that we've "captured" their sound, and we're especially happy that we did, because the potential that they display with their brand-new single, "Cold", cannot be ignored. Icy synths introduce the song, but they are quickly matched with Talvi Faustmann's captivating croon and a house beat. A hazy, yet upbeat vibe is thenceforth produced and carried on through the chorus, which is scattered with electronic bits and more synths. The song's unique sonic atmosphere is not only addictive, but also very unique from much of what we hear today, as the duo has successfully infused house elements into a chilled, electro-pop base, with results nothing short of euphonic.
