With digitally produced sounds primarily saturating music today, sometimes it's good to return to some feel-good, funky, soul-drenched tunes. Embodying the aforementioned throwback sound is newcomer Pretty Sister, and with his new single, "Drive", he's giving us reason to soak up the sun and dance the day away. Although Pretty Sister currently has three tracks out (they were all successful), he took a more minimal approach with his latest one here, and it has worked quite well. With his not-too-over-the-top production and detailed, chilled-to-hell vocals deftly arranged, we hear the Los Angeles-based act's intentions of "sunny days driving up and down the Pacific Coast Highway" being fulfilled to the bone, and, as a result, we are eager to hear what he has planned for us in the days ahead.
