Los Angeles and New York City pop duo POWERS (Mike Del Rio, Crista Ru) sure know how to write a tune. Ever since their stellar feature on The Knocks' summer smash, "Classic", we've heard nothing but pure gold from the two, and subsequent efforts like "Beat Of My Drum" and "Loved By You" have confirmed that to be true. "Legendary", the latest track off their forthcoming EP of the same name, is sure to impress new listeners and satisfy fans alike. The exterior of the song may look like an old-school funk jam, but, under the hood, it's driven by undeniable hooks and a laser-guided pop sensibility (Mike Del Rio's credits include artists like Christina Aguilera and Kylie Minogue). In conjunction with what efforts have come before it, it's safe to say that POWERS have one of the best EPs of 2015 on their hands.
