Pours is a new duo out of Burlington, VT, that's looking to shake things up a bit with their brand of off-kilter psychedelic-pop, and initiating the proper buzz for them today is the debut single, "Carry The Oar", from their forthcoming self-titled debut that's due out in May through Section Sign Records. The best thing about their sound based off this sneak peak is how unconventional it is. It's melodic enough to be relaxing, but at the same time, it's not something that's going to put you to sleep. Couple that with their seemingly complex textures and odd-ball vocal touches, and chances are pretty good that you'll be hooked on the effort.
