First Serve is the fictional group from Posdnous + Dave of De La Soul who are Deen Whitter (aka Plug 2 / Dave) & Jacob 'Pop Life' Barrow (aka Plug 1/ Pos). The album tells the story of the two aspiring rappers from Queens, NY and their story of struggle to 'make it big' in hip-hop. Theme album or not, it's great to hear some new music from De La Soul.
