We're not the biggest admirers of short beats, particularly due to the fact that they tend to contain nothing but a sweet, teasing loop with minimal progressive inclusions, but Poldoore has certainly put us in our place with this gem of a clip entitled “Come Back”. With the Belgian’s new EP, Lush Life II, right around the corner, the piece serves as an ideal teaser, and it should keep us engaged and adrenalized until the release. The beat within the track is your ordinary evolver in structure, but the twist lies in the sublime additions and overall passage that include a classic blues synth, sneaky vocal chops, a couple of brass notes, and sunlit acoustic drumwork. It all puts "Come Back" in the category of pieces that never seem to burn out, and with the discharge of some ideal seasonal vibes, Poldoore has certainly hit all the right spots on the track, however short it may be.
