During the low point of this slow Tuesday afternoon, a mysterious song with blank white cover art revealed itself from the infinitely vast depths of SoundCloud. The track's entitled "Life In Grey", and appears to be the very first release from Point Point, a four-piece production group consisting of the previously HD-featured L'homme Aux 4 lettres and three other unknown artists. Of course, we courageously hit play, and upon doing so, it immediately sounded as if we had been hit on the head with a baseball bat; cluttered noises scattered around the listening atmosphere, gradually growing more vivid as the mind attempted to recover. And just when the sound was almost clear, another blow hit, though, this time, it was delivered from a wave of bass and synths. This sonic smashing paved the way for a track filled with vocal chops, electronic bits, irregular percussion, and even a completely unexpected keyboard solo near the end, and we encourage you not to be afraid to listen below and brave the storm of Point Point's first offering.
