With one track left to conclude his debut EP, Torontonian R&B artist PLAZA shares his smoothest effort to date, "WATER", which is saying something given the nature of his preceding tracks (they've all been of a similar velvety ilk). PLAZA has built a signature vibe off shadowy, purple-hued images and a super late-night-ready sound, and that in no way changes with what he has here. His crystalline, auto-tuned voice swerves through what haunting, cracking beats the track has, and his quickened cadence throughout lends extra appeal as well. As with his other tracks, there's a stylish seductiveness attached to it all, and it won't be hard to imagine fans of either The Weeknd or Bryson Tiller gravitating toward this guy a lot as a result.
