Last year, we posted PHOX's EP, Confetti, and sang the praises for it for the better part of the entire year, which eventually moved us to include the highlight effort, "Slow Motion", on our Top 100 Songs of the Year. Outside the pages of HD, though, Confetti, flew under the radar for most, but that wasn't the case with the folks at Partisan Records, who have now inked the Madison-based band to a new deal, and will see them release a full-length on June 24th. If you happened to catch a listen of Confetti, you would have heard "Slow Motion" already, but now with the new label deal comes a brand-new version of the track that sees its departure from the stripped-back vibe, and in its place, a new recording that boasts boisterous accessories like added drums, horn parts, and guitar additions. If you loved the original, have no fear, because this new version will not leave you disappointed in the slightest.
