You could make an argument that R&B music is very saturated right now, and we'd probably agree (cases can be made that most genres are this way). However, the counter to that will always be that good music is good music, and no matter the context of a track, album, or whatever, if something deserves to be heard, it doesn't matter how many other tracks in its respective genre(s) are out. Phlake's new album is a perfect example of all that above. The act may not be the most hyped out, but they make stunning music, and in debut album Slush Hours that just dropped today, you'll see exactly what we mean. From the body of work, we've already covered "Angel Zoo" and "So Faded", but with the likes of new favorites like "May Be" and "Breakup Business", there are multiple reasons more to give the album a spin.
