If you'd like to get excited about a new indie-pop duo, look no further than Peta & The Wolves. In 2014, The Melbourne-based act released their first demo, "Scum", and that earned them a spin on Triple J, a spot on TV, and a few hundred thousand Spotify plays. After their initial success with that, they decided to focus their efforts on a debut EP, and with magical track "Verbal Wars" from it, we're getting a great taste of what's to come. Though "Verbal Wars" begins quite minimally, it grows into quite a euphoric arrangement—one that's carried by shining vocal layers and brightly morphing synths throughout. We're very impressed by the effort, and, as they claim that aforementioned debut project of theirs is to come out soon, we expect to hear more impressive efforts by the pair leading up to its release.
