I'll be damned if I again hear sounds as gloriously glum as those appearing on Persian Empire's "Safe Often" single from his forthcoming EP of a similar name. It's a track incorporating a multitude of morose aspects, from the moody piano melody initializing the barren vibes, to the electrical humming in the background, to the brittle percussion spiking the majority of the track, and it's a tantalizingly tragic aura that ultimately gets expressed. And because we happen to be so in love with the particular atmosphere, we'll be awaiting ardently the rest of the German producer's project that releases in two days.
