So often in electronic music we find songs that get too repetitive. They may start off great with that first drop, but after a few bars in, things get monotonous and the dynamic just isn't enough to keep you listening anymore. "Fossil" from Paul Chin is one of those tracks that teeters on such formalities. With that initial drop & enchanting sample, you're pulled in immediately, but as the song goes along, you attention may start to fade a bit. However, towards the end things pick back up again, as if to toy with your attention span and music taste. Just like our words here going back and forth between praise and second-guessing, so too may your opinion about "Fossil" waver when you to listen to it.
