Hailing from Nigeria, Paris Lain has been brewing hazy, accessible R&B that's worth your attention, and, today, while he's no new music out, we're inclined to feature his last two pieces titled "For You" and "4AM". (The two pieces, in our opinion, are his best so far.) The now-Baltimore-based artist manages to differentiate his vocal style on both tracks here, with a contemporary, bass-boosted instrumental accompanying his downcast flows on "For You, and a more radio-ready, The Weeknd-like approach on "4AM". Lain is certainly capable of making an impression in the R&B sphere, provided his camp involved makes the right moves. With what material he's put out thus far, there's little doubt he's in his possession a recognizable, accessible sound overall.
