The first warm days of spring just began sweeping across the continent, brightening the moods of many, so Robotaki decided to provide some music to accompany the optimistic weather. The Canadian producer has gained a following by consistently releasing several remixes and even a few original tracks, and now he's back with yet another outstanding effort of the former variety, deciding this time to take on "Got Me Goin", a smooth tune from the Brooklyn-inhabiting indie-pop duo, Paperwhite. Robotaki sends bright vibes through a fast-paced beat and a catchy melody here, adding vibrant electronic touches and bubbly vocals from Katie Marshall (Paperwhite). The track's light as a feather, progressing fluidly through seamless transitions in and out of a blissful chorus. Eventually, Robotaki pulls back the euphonic array, only leaving the crisp percussion; however, he gently starts to rebuild, adding additional layers of vocals and electronic touches which eventually accumulate into one large climactic moment of sonic sunshine. And so even if the weather isn't too bright where you are right now, we advise that you use this track as a pleasant reminder that summer is just around the corner.
