It is hard to believe that it's been over a year since dream-pop group Paperwhite released their debut Magic EP, and even harder to comprehend is just how much the brother-sister duo has managed to cram into their time since. Not only did they complete a successful showcase circuit from SXSW to CMJ, but they also had the enviable privilege of travelling to Iceland to record in iconic Greenhouse Studios as part of the Converse Rubber Tracks program. Finally, we're getting a chance to hear the result of these sessions, and that peeking in comes in the form of their new single, “Get Away”. As always, the vocal delivery from Katie Marshall is arresting, and the beats produced by her brother, Ben, are crafted to dream-pop perfection. "Get Away" proves to be another superb example of modern musical composition executed with a subtle retro flair, and we certainly hope to hear more of it from them ahead.
