It's almost embarrassing the amount of audible riches DIE HIGH has in their possession. It seems that each week or so, they've multiple musical gems to unearth to the world, each as lustrous, if not more so, than the the ones shared before, and it's really done wonders for the reputation of the up-and-coming Australian label. Their latest spectacular offering, "The Love" by Papertoy, continues the trend of tantalizing electronic music put forth by the Perth masterminds, and the particular effort is itself as tremendous as what others we've heard from the realm of sound which Papertoy meddles so wonderfully within. There's a smattering of screwed samples setting the scene for what strictured synths follow from the initiation of the track, supplementary percussion occuring afterwards, and an odd sense of experimental coherence to the instrumental that is so iconic of all DIE HIGH efforts we've been privileged to hear recently. It's an exciting experience, listening to "The Love" is, and we're excited to see what future works Papertoy has for us to wade audibly into.
