The Paperboys were an instrumental part of my life musically back when I was young in my mp3 digging days. Their music instantly inspired anyone who came across it and prompted you to tell everyone you knew about their music. The added coolness was the fact that these guys were from Norway and chances were that nobody over here was ever going to hear their music. So I will always attest the Paperboys as being apart of the foundation for my motivation to start this blog and begin a life long goal to spread this music to people. As a relative side note to this story is my personal story of back in 2006 when I was backpacking Europe. I flew over to Norway just to see them preform in Oslo. I approached them that night and told em I was Canadian and that I was a huge fan. Needless to say they lost it, we ended up partying that night backstage and eventually passed out on Vinnie's couch. That night set the stage for me to take this love for music and make a real difference. The Paperboys are Vinnie (emcee) and DJ Pope (production/cuts). They have released 4 full length albums: No Cure For Life (2002), The Great Escape (2003), When Worlds Collide (2005) and The Oslo Agreement (2009). Below are some of my favorites from the Paperboys in hopes that you can become a fan as well. These guys do not really care for the internet so their net presence has always been very low. But regardless make sure you are aware of these guys and their music.
