Sydney five piece Panama released their Hillydilly featured sophomore EP "Always" earlier this month to well deserved acclaim. After starting various bands around my hometown of Perth with varying degrees of success, lead singer Jarrah McCleary has truly found his voice with this latest project. The EP was recorded in San Francisco and produced by Eric Broucek who has also had his hand in mixing such acts as !!!, Holy Ghost and Classixx. It only makes sense then that Panama's title track "Always" has just been given the Classixx treatment. The tropical elements that run throughout the original tune are perfectly accentuated by that signature Classixx disco funk bass line. The weekend is almost upon us and now you have the perfect party starter.
