Pablo Nouvelle — Invading My Mind ft. Fiona Daniel

Pablo Nouvelle

Invading My Mind ft. Fiona Daniel

Pablo Nouvelle has become somewhat of a staple for all of us here at Hillydilly. His music always strikes the perfect balance between the kind of avant-garde production work that will get you noticed in today's often-overcrowded music world, and the technical precision that makes songs like "Invading My Mind" so easy to listen to. Featuring the talents of Fiona Daniel, Pablo uses piano, muted basslines, and subtle beat work to build a track that is sure to turn heads, but feels effortless in almost every way. Daniel, the single's vocalist, is still relatively unknown, and folk music is where she spends most of her time as an artist, but this feature was a match made in heaven, and despite the unlikely pairing up, the track feels like it was destined to work from the very beginning. "Invading My Mind" is the latest track to drop in preparation for Pablo's upcoming EP on the 29th of July. It's coming out on the ubiquitous British indie label, Black Butter, and that alone bodes well for this Swiss artist, considering the imprint has championed other success stories like Bipolar Sunshine and Rudimental. If the music in his EP comes even close to the quality of his current catalog (and we have no reason to believe that it won't), then you can bet we're going to be waiting impatiently 'till it comes out. Pablo has been growing his fan base at a steady pace for a couple years now, but we'd be willing to bet that his best years as a career artists are still ahead of him.
