We're thrilled to introduce you to the Nigerian-born, London-raised, New York-based singer-songwriter and producer, Oyinda. She's fresh on the music scene, just popping up a little over a month ago with her debut song, "Rush of You", and she's followed that already by playing at Lollapalooza. It looks like this pop star in the making is just getting started, though, because today she's just released a brand-new single, "What Still Remains", and it's absolutely gorgeous. Deep, dark synths call out throughout the entirety of the track, instilling a solemn, serene mood, and it's one that is brilliantly complemented by keyboard chords, a mellow beat, and plenty of unique electronic nuances throughout. Oyinda's vocals glow on the track, coasting atop the instrumental not too strongly nor too softly, but rather, hitting a simply euphonic, soulful tone. An influx of melancholic strings and powerful piano chords arise during the chorus, bringing a somewhat gloomy, yet certainly touching sound to the track, and if you're looking for a tranquil, yet beautiful work of music, you'll have to look no further than the singer's "What Still Remains" here.
