Our inaugural listen to Oxford Drama with their self-titled debut EP yielded a pretty remarkable downtempo sound, but now, we’ve in front of us the first single from their forthcoming album, and really, they’ve departed from their airy beginnings and headed on a more upbeat way. With the track, we’ve more pronounced guitar than synths (don’t worry, they’re still lurking in the background) and a much more prominent vocal slab from Małgorzata Dryjańska which, overall, presents a result that's distinctively majestic. “Preserve” sparks our anticipation for their album that’s to come, for sure, and if the Polish duo is able to do this well across the two genres they know now well, we can’t hold much doubt as to how eclectic and refreshing their new work will be.
