If you're the kind of person who gets excited when new acts pop up, feast your ears on the new downtempo-pop duo, Oxford Drama, who just released their debut self-titled EP. And while we intially pegged the pair's sound as downtempo-pop (as you read), what the Polish duo offers here is so much more than that. With tracks like the title one, they're not trying to win you over with blazing over expansive melodies; rather, they take the less-is-more route and let the simplicity do all the talking. With the unique vocal tone of lead vocalist, Małgorzata Dryjańska, it's easy for Marcin Mrówka to employ effective minimalism on his atmospheric production, and, as their first body of work, the EP is very impressive to say the least.
