Naming a song after an operating system is not necessarily the best way to lure new listeners (or maybe it is). Regardless, Our Mother is giving us another glimpse of their sonic creativity on second-ever release, "Lion OS X", which, rest assured, has nothing to do with computers (apart from the production process, of course). Instead, we find the London-based newcomers harmonizing lovelorn lyrics over looping piano keys and serenading horns, creating an emotional effort that carries a sombre edge to its crescendoing-peak at 2:56 when percussion sets in. It's a bold, beautiful listen, "Lion OS X" is, and if it's something different-sounding but still quality you crave for, look for the track to solve that conundrum for you today.
