Melbourne has given us many great musical acts over the years, and it seems like their latest one now is Otious. The four-piece graced us with their smooth-sounding "All I Know" just months ago, and while we weren't too sure on their sonic direction as a whole, their debut EP, Charade, has put all our rests to doubt. The five-piece project is an immersive one with the lead vocalist in the limelight on all the pieces, and, even with that being the case, there's plenty of room for deft, engaging production throughout. We really have no idea how the work's split between the four (Alan Jin, Darcy Coombs, Jordan Walker and Matt Ferron), but we do know for a fact that their combined efforts prove to be extremely potent on the sonic front.
