Our first entirely new act of the day is Oslo Parks, a Brighton-based duo who's released their introductory sounds across the web just a few hours ago. The pair has an upbeat, disco-pop sound which we're finding to be very infectious, and their first single, "Twin", matches a groovy bassline and some heartfelt piano keys with a pumping drum kit, all of which coalesce to form one helluva summer jam. We're really amazed at how much instrumentation has gone into this track, especially since it's a blend of both live and electronic sounds, and from the electric guitar bits to the subtle melodies, it's about as eclectic as any. The whole thing is glued together by the lead vocals that fluctuate from a sensual croon to an engaging chant, and all of the elements in communication with one another really work to make the track a successful one all the way around. "Twin" is being released through the London tastemaker label, X Novo, who previously brought us Phoria's acclaimed Display EP. Since we absolutely loved that, we have plenty of confidence in the brand-new duo, Oslo Parks, and if you've any question as to whether or not they're a tandem to watch, just play the track.
