Osca — Illume

Osca

Illume

We got a sneak peak of this track a while back, and ever since our first listen, we've been itching to share it with all you HD readers out there. Osca's first track was one of those that managed to simultaneously wow you with its grandeur, and hit you in the gut with its brutally well-executed production work, and, after setting such a high bar, you'd think the band would feel a little extra pressure to make sure the quality of their second release was up to snuff. As it turns out, there was no need for worry at all, because "Illume" is another one of those tracks that will drop your jaw to the floor after just the first couple of notes. Unlike "Blood" this song isn't quite as high-energy, but the subtle attention to detail can be found in pretty much every nook and cranny of the track, and the vocals turn this already impressive instrumental into a stadium-filling anthem that feels purpose-built to captivate legions of lighter-waving fans as they soak up all of the epic choruses and transitions. Osca has yet to truly make their mark, to be sure, but seeing as how this is only their second song, they are doing quite well for themselves. It's hard to come up with two great singles in a row, but these guys have done it in style, and they don't appear to be slowing down at any point in the near future.
