This isn't the first time we've posted on Osca's breakout track, "Blood". In fact, this isn't even the first remix of it we've posted, either. However, the bones of this song are so good that they've helped direct us again and again to the repeated rework treatment, and this new version by GEMS brings a whole new, much darker flavor to the mix. It's still got all the cool parts that we loved from the original, but now everything has been slowed down a bit, and all of the beautiful, soft-edged production work in Osca's version has been swapped out for something a bit more menacing. Of course, GEMS have been killing it since their first release, so the success of this teaming up isn't exactly unexpected, but we're still pleasantly surprised at how well the two sounds have blended together.
