"Blood" appears to be Osca's first official track, but you'd never know it by listening to the music. This demo here has been floating around the internet for a while now, and it even got attention from some big names in radio and other bands, but it's only now that Osca has come out with a fully polished version of the single. If you did hear the first version, then it comes as no surprise that "Blood" is probably going to be a huge song, and, if put in the right hands, could easily could make the band's career. The bones of the song are so solid, too, that it would probably be equally as impactful if played with just a piano to accompany the vocals, but the extra bells and whistles that have been added in make this a song you'll have a hard time ignoring. Things start off relatively slow, sure, but soon enough, the drum beat kicks in and the orchestral textures in the background multiply as they quickly build into a flurry of sound. Eventually the energy ebbs again, but only for a second, and the next wave of sound is even bigger than the last. This time around, though, there's a chorus to accompany all those delicious notes. If by now your ears haven't been completely swept away, then we're just gonna give up, because if "Blood" doesn't do it for you, then we don't know what will. This single is a certifiably epic track, and the grand finale in the second half is the kind of music that plays in the background as you watch your favorite movie star doing something heroic on a windswept mountain top. It'll give you the feels and inspire you all at once, and we can't think of a better way for Osca to officially introduce themselves to the music world.
