With a stripped-down, grimy, downtempo approach to the increasingly popular R&B, Opal Blue introduces us to "Time Travel" as a single off their forthcoming debut EP. The track manages to unveil the two's minimal style and more sizable potential, and, although this is not the first time we've been introduced to similar production, (Majid Jordan's might be able to be recalled) distinct elements leave room for originality here, and the production does embody the intentions of the act very well. "Time Travel" is the manifestation of their artistic abilities, in any event, and it's a great peek at what they have in store for us with their new project dropping soon.
