There's always been talk of the One Day crew making music together, but up until now, we've never seen that talk result into something. However, with their brand-new track, "Love Me Less", Horrorshow, Jackie Onassis , Spit Syndicate, and Joyride are finally giving the world the fruits of their collaborative labour with a very promising first effort. "Love Me Less" is the group's debut piece and is certainly one that will please you, as each of the acts involved play their part in an impressive fashion. Adit (Horrorshow), Raph (Jackie Onassis) and Joyride provide the production, while Spit Syndicate , Solo (Horrorshow), and Kai (Jackie Onassis) fill in with the verses and additional vocals. The track starts off with an instantly immersive and raw croon, which is quickly backed up by a vintage drum sequence, to welcome the short, yet charming chorus. The first verse sneaks its way in after the chorus and barely needs the beat accompaniment, but the see-sawing of the instrumentation and the drums adds some serious effectiveness on the track. After the first few listens, the highly-addictive chorus will be at the tip of your tongue, but the lyricism should not be neglected, either, as the emcees deliver their intrinsic outlooks in a pristine manner. "Love Me Less" is only One Day's debut track, but because we suspect they've recorded more material, it'd be best to keep your eyes out for more.
