For some of us, there's a time and a place that we find perfect for each and every track we listen to. The sonic qualities of some are fitting for certain situations more than others, and we’ve a knack for those eliciting the aura of inspiration no matter what. Chicagoan and Minneapolis trio ON AN ON has blessed us here in that regard with “Drifting” and it’s a number lifting us far above our present state and providing a certain tone that just takes us away. A simple acoustic strumming and light piano notes are all that are needed on "Drifting" to back what contained vocals it also has, and even when some light percussion fills in, we continue to find ourselves washed over with a complete sense of tranquility. The mood that the group is searching for has certainly been found here, and we’re delighted to share it with you all, as we’re sure it’ll be the track to brighten your day as much as it did ours.
