Minneapolis-based indie-pop trio ON AN ON has a penchant for crafting track that hit the sweet spot between catchy alternative hit, and experimental SoundCloud gem. Their 2013-released, sparkling debut album, Give In, showed us that the three has a sound that's easy to love, and their latest release, And The Wave Has Two Sides, finds them exploring new sides of their sound while aiming for maximum emotional impact. As evidenced by tracks like the lovelorn "You Were So Scared" and the Vance Joy-referencing "Drifting", And The Wave Has Two Sides heavily relies on detailed production and the emotive quality of frontman Nate Eiesland's vocals to grab and hold our attention.
