It's been a year since Olivver the Kid departed gracefully from The Neighbourhood in order to pursue his own shade of black and white, which he's been exposing to fans ever since stepping out on his own. There's no question he's been finding his footing in a solid way, and, as we hear on "World on Fire", his latest track exposing his artistic fire inside, there's no reason to think he's about to slow down. "World" is likely the most accessible, highly textured pop track he's put out yet, and, while he still may be honing his sound to match his ever-evolving tastes, he sure is close to honing in on something uniquely and unequivocally his.
