It's been a breakthrough year for the LA-based singer-songwriter and former drummer of The Neighbourhood, Olivver, as taking the solo route has proved to be the right decision. It's tracks like "Attica '71", "Not Going Home", and "Lucy (Hurt People Hurt People)" that's seen the transformation be a fruitful one, and now to reward his new listeners, Olivver has just released a free five-track EP, B-Sides, that features tracks that have been left off his forthcoming official debut EP, Freak. Of the new tracks that have not yet been exposed (from the free EP), we're here to highlight our favourite, "Now You Know", that sees Olivver at his best using heartfelt lyrics juxtaposed between edgy electronic, atmospheric pads, and his signature guitar tone. It's always a good sign when the curation process sees tracks as good as this one cut off, so you can no doubt expect his debut EP to be a stellar one. Take a visit to Olivver's website, drop off your email, and download the collection of tracks while you wait for more.
