Taking the road less travelled may not be the easiest decision at first, but it's one that is most rewarding in the end, most of the time. Choosing to take this route is the LA-based vocalist, Olivver, who just a few years ago found himself in what has become a hugely successful band, The Neighbourhood. However, having elected to leave the group to focus on his solo career has opened all kinds of new creative doors for him, and his latest track, "Attica '71", gives us a glimpse into the songwriting prowess the man possesses. It would be one thing to leave a successful band like The Neighbourhood and release mediocre music, rendering the decision to leave a band a bad one, but "Attica '71" proves that leaving was, in fact, the right choice, and one that's going to give us a project teeming with some utterly fantastic music. We commend Olivver for his ambitious artistic undertaking, therefore, and look forward to all he's in store for us going forward.
