The adage of not fixing something that isn't broke is the cornerstone of Oh Wonder's one-track-a-month release strategy that's been going on for almost a year now. It's understandable for one to think that their sound is getting a little repetitive, certainly, but do yourself a favor and isolate "Livewire" while pretending to have never heard of their music before. While doing so, ask yourself if it's a good song that you enjoy listening to, and, once you almost certainly conclude that it is, you'll be able to appreciate it for all that it is: a well-written and soothing ballad that's going to be there for you when you need to relax.
